I founded Vertex Alpha Research to bring institutional-grade research methodology to investors who don’t have access to bulge-bracket or buy-side desks. After seven years [trading and studying] the markets, I came to believe the analytical frameworks sophisticated investors rely on aren’t out of reach — they’re just rarely translated into something an independent investor can actually use. Vertex Alpha Research closes that gap: the same frameworks, shown and taught in plain language.

After seven years in financial market, I observed that the analytical frameworks used by sophisticated institutional investors are not inaccessible—they are simply not written in language that retail investors can use. Vertex Alpha Research closes that gap.

My Research Philosophy

Every report I publish follows three principles. First, every claim must be defensible under scrutiny—facts are separated from assumptions and projections.

Second, every recommendation is probability-weighted across explicit scenarios rather than a single-point target.

Third, when new information emerges that changes the thesis, I publish an update note including when the original analysis was wrong. Transparent revisions build long-term subscriber trust; silent rewrites destroy it.

Coverage Approach

I cover sectors where structural research advantage exists—pre-IPO analysis, AI infrastructure, defense technology, energy transition, and critical materials. I do not cover commoditised mega-cap names where my analysis would not add value beyond consensus.
